The Recovery Coach Program is designed for anyone looking for an additional support within recovery. This peer-to-peer support will help clients achieve his or her goals in recovery and in life. By being a mentor, motivator, connection to the community and ally, coaches work with patients to make the transition to a stronger recovery lifestyle. This program is designed to be led by the client and ensure various barriers to recovery are not seen as insurmountable, but manageable.
By request, a coach is connected with a client. At that time the coach will make contact at least weekly, working with the client to identify areas of need, provide additional support and guide the client to available resources.
Recovery Coaches and clients also get together in a larger group setting to participate in sober recreation. These include activities such as Frisbee golf, movie nights, kayaking and many more.
Recovery coaching adds another layer of support for anyone in recovery.
